Gilded Iguana:

The restaurant and bar at Gilded Iguana is as much a staple of Guiones as the hotel itself. A popular hangout among residents and returning tourist, for it's good food, great drinks, relaxed atmosphere and live music. Stop in Tuesday night's for the Head High Band.

This nice restaurant owned by Chef Josep (Pepe) Bernades, serves up fresh Asian food. Their menu includes items as Pad Thai, Vietnamese pho, and all fish caught locally in Garza. Pochote is the name of a specific tree local to Costa Rica, one Pochote tree have grown against the corner of the restaurant and has been incorporated into the architecture of the building.
